I am Emily, a Rural Chartered Surveyor, bookkeeper for my husband's farming business and a mum to Isabella and Matilda. We have an agricultural contracting business along with farming; arable, beef, sheep and most importantly my pig Pricilla. We live in beautiful rural Shropshire, set amongst the rolling hills, we feel very privileged to live and work in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Country life is in our bones, and it is all we know. The products you find on my website emulate the rural life we love.
My passion for the countryside and interior design is at the forefront of the business. The reason Glorious Grouse began is that a lot of people living in the countryside aren’t necessarily living in their own home, or a home that they have total autonomy over, perhaps they are renting or living in a farm cottage or even awaiting a move to the farmhouse, or as a custodian of a family home. Sometimes we are unable to make major changes to the property we live in, what ever our situation is, we all have a desire to make a house a home and I endeavour to find delightful country themed pieces that do just that.
